A PLACE TO BURY STRANGERS set for Voodoo, Belfast show in April!
New York–based noise rock band A Place To Bury Strangers have announced a show at Voodoo Belfast for 1st April 2015. "There are moments where I'm really scared on stage," admits A Place to Bury Strangers bassist Dion Lunadon, "where it's really foggy and I know someone's swinging a guitar around. Feeder’s frontman Grant Nicholas has announced a show at The Empire Music Hall for Sunday 1st March 2015. PEACE return to Belfast in March!
Based out of Birmingham, England, Peace create drifting, melodic indie rock that merges the crawling atmosphere of classic post-punk with the pop-oriented bounce of modern bands like Vampire Weekend. Formed by brothers Harrison and Samuel Koisser, on vocals/guitar and bass, respectively, as well as guitarist Douglas Castle and drummer Dominic Boyce, the band came together in 2010 before gaining recognition among the U.K. press with its debut outing, the Delicious EP, which was released on Columbia in 2012. A full-length effort, In Love, followed in early 2013 to much critical acclaim. Their latest single LOST ON ME is out now. SLOW CLUB announce Belfast show at The Empire!
Slow Club is Sheffield boy-girl duo Charles Watson and Rebecca Taylor. The band formed in 2005 when they were both still teenagers and spent the next two years touring relentlessly around the North of England. A support slot with US band Tilly And The Wall brought them to the attention of Moshi Moshi Records who released their debut album Yeah So in 2009. Now in 2014 we find Charles and Rebecca emerging from the studio again with what promises to be their career-defining album – Complete Surrender.
